THIS sad story would seem to support the belief that, encouraged by unforgivable government cowardice, arranged/forced marriages and the physical abuse of women that is often associated with them are now as British as fish and chips. This is exactly the sort of uncivilised and misogynistic custom that we must not allow to take root in Britain, let alone ever be enshrined in law.
